What are essential Oil?

EO’s are often used in aromatherapy, a form of alternative medicine that employs plant extracts to support health and well-being. However, some of the health claims associated with these oils are controversial.

Essential oils are compounds extracted from plants. The oils capture the plant’s scent and flavor. Unique aromatic compounds give each essential oil its characteristic essence. Essential oils are obtained through distillation via steam and/or water or mechanical methods, such as cold pressing.

Once the aromatic chemicals have been extracted, they are combined with a carrier oil to create a product that’s ready for use. The way the oils are made is important, as essential oils obtained through chemical processes are not considered true essential oils.

EO’s and Aromatherapy

Essential oils are most commonly used in the practice of aromatherapy, in which they are inhaled through various methods. Essential oils are not meant to be swallowed. The chemicals in essential oils can interact with your body in several ways. When applied to your skin, some plant chemicals are absorbed.

DON’T Just Rub Them Anywhere – Oils that are fine on your arm, legs may not be safe to put inside mouth, nose or private parts. Lemongrass peppermint and cinnamon bark are some examples.

If you want a professional aromatherapist do your research before getting one!  Professional Aromatherapists by law don’t have to go through training or license–but there’s ways for you can check yours out: such as going the National Association of Holistic Aroma Therapy.

Your doctor is a great resource too-they’ll make sure it’s safe for you and rule out any side effects like affecting prescriptions.

Become A Young Living  Essential Oils Distributor in Florida

Florida – Spanish for “land of flowers” – is a large state with a wonderful mix of densely populated cities, a bustling night-life, and beautiful beaches and dreamy tourist destinations such as North Port Florida. The type of people looking to add pure essential oils to their daily routines are endless! If you’re a Florida resident hoping to create or expand your Young Living business, you’re in the right place!

Many retirees flock to Florida due to the mild climate. For this reason, sharing the health benefits of essential oils is crucial. There are even essential oils to help with dementia and other ailments commonly affecting the elderly. Lavender essential oil is calming and can help soothe strong emotions, which tend to plague dementia victims.

Massaging a combination of Lavender, Roman Chamomile & Lemon in 12ml of Sweet Almond can really help to soothe and relieve arthritis. Eucalyptus  oil and lemon are ideal for disinfecting and general cleaning to keep areas clean, bright, and germ-free.

And don’t forget that aromatherapy products can help you beat that famous Florida humidity! Peppermint essential oil is great in a foot bath, or diluted with some aloe vera gel and applied to temples or the back of your neck.

Long, hot days can lead to dehydration and headaches. Clary Sage essential oil is has wonderful cooling properties and many people swear by it for headaches and tension. Add to your diffuser or on your pillow while you lie down to beat the heat and the head soreness that can accompany it. You can even create your own sunburn remedy using peppermint oil, some soothing lavender oil, and aloe vera juice or carrier oil. The options are really endless for using and sharing oils in such a hot and humid area.

Young Living Member Price VS. Retail Price

When you first get started setting up an account to purchase products from Young Living – which is as easy as filling out a few basic details through an online form (name, address, email etc. – typical stuff you’d enter when ordering online).

Do you want to become a member and get special member discount pricing?

OR

Do you want to purchase as retail customer without a member discount?

The key difference is that as a member you will save 24% on ALL Young Living purchases in the future.

So let’s say you’re interested in purchasing a bottle of lavender essential oil in your next order. At retail pricing, you’re paying $31.91, but as a member you’re only paying $24.25 (24% off).

So what’s “the catch” you say? What’s involved with becoming a member?

Two questions that I typically get asked are:

  • Is there a monthly purchase requirement as a member?

  • Do I have to sell anything if I’m a member?

Here’s the GOOD NEWS

  • There is absolutely NO minimum monthly purchase requirements. (to remain a member, you need to make $50 worth of purchases per YEAR to keep your membership)

  • There is zero pressure to ever sell essential oils or any Young Living products to anyone!

  • In fact, 90% of the members in Young Living don’t do the business side at all.

  • They are buying from Young Living because of the quality alone.

Sounds pretty good right? 24% off ALL products, with no monthly purchases, and no pressure to sell.

So what does it cost to become a member of Young Living, and how do you become a member?

It’s as easy as purchasing your Young Living Premium Starter Kit
