Always turn off and unplug the diffuser prior to cleaning.
Periodically check under the diffuser to keep the fan intake free of debris.
Use little brush that came with diffuser, dip in rubbing alcohol and rub all around the little plate at the bottom of the diffuser.
Clean at least once of week.
